New Year's Eve 2012

Was invited last minute to a NYE party and had to put an outfit together. I wanted to feel comfortable, sharp and not over dressed so i decided to wear my tailored J.Crew Double breasted Ludlow suit in Charcoal. I had my tailor slim down the sleeves of the jacket and take in from the back- which is what i do to all my jackets for a more polished, modern look.  Tie is from GQ Gap x Ovadia and Sons collab and the pocket square is from The Tie Bar.

Rare Barbour International Jacket NATO edition sz 38

Rare Barbour International Suit M7 NATO Stock jacket in very good condition. The Barbour International was conceived for and worn as a two piece suit by motorcyclists from the 1930's on and adapted for use by World War II Submarine captains, and later even up to the present day by NATO (The North Atlantic Treaty Organization, an intergovernmental military alliance based on April 4th 1949.) The NATO M7 edition is cut slightly shorter and trimmer than the regular A7 edition which is sold today with a label patch on the right chest pocket. I just finished sponging this jacket down with cold water and will be ready for use soon! Cant wait until Autumn.
